City Of Ypsilanti Non-Motorized Advisory CommitteeWant To Make Ypsilanti A Better Place To Walk, Use A Wheelchair, Or Bike?
City Non-Motorized Advisory Committee Has Volunteer Openings
One thing nice about living in Ypsilanti is that it is small enough to be able to walk, bike our use a wheelchair to travel to destinations. At the same time, there is always room for improvements to non-motorized facilities, as well as encouraging more people to walk and bike.
The City of Ypsilanti Non-Motorized Advisory Committee currently has openings for new Committee members, as well as individuals willing to work on Committee projects. Committee members serve a two-year term, attend regular meetings (roughly bi-monthly during the pandemic and done online) and work on selected projects.
If interested in serving on the Committee, please review our Committee Member Duties and General Information sheet (tinyurl.com/NMAC-Information), our meeting agendas and minutes which gives and overview of yearly goals (www.cityofypsilanti.com/AgendaCenter/NonMotorized-Advisory-Committee-9), or attend our next online Committee meeting (Thursday, January 7th – details at www.cityofypsilanti.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1235). Also, feel free to contact the Committee Chair Bob Krzewinski at [email protected] or 734-487-9058. … See MoreSee Less
