A little simpler this year, and back to basics – 2 routes: one dirt roads, one paved roads.
Paved roads: 28.5 miles.
Dirt roads: 21 miles.
Leaves from Corner Brewery (Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery), returns there at the end. Feel free to stay for socializing afterward if you like – it’s highly likely there will be folks hanging around afterwards in the beer garden.
Rides launch at 1pm from Arbor Brewing Microbrewery. Come earlier to sign in and get yourself set up.
As with all our rides, helmets are strongly encouraged for everyone, and mandatory for riders under 16 (state law, people). Any minors who join us must ride with a parent or guardian.
Note: this is a longer paved route than usual for a “main route”. We’ll break into groups – faster will be 15-16mph average. Expect to ride for 1.75 -3 hours depending on your group’s pace.
Taco Tour is at capacity and registration is CLOSED… we’re full, complete, stuffed, sated… whatever you want to call it.
200 riders is where we gotta call it and say “no mas”.
As of Tuesday night, if you already got in contact with Taco Tom, and sent your check in, and been received by now, you’re good.
If not, then we’re sorry, but begging will do you no good… there’s only so many that TT9 can handle.
For those 200… see y’all on Sunday. Looks like it will be perfect – 72 and sunny, bikes and tacos.
For all Bike Ypsi members in good standing… (“good standing” meaning the basic membership requirements: Sign Up, Show Up, Do Something.)
We’ll be having a General Meeting in January to discuss Bike Ypsi business of the yearly, and long-view variety. Over the past years some things have changed, and some have stayed the same. It’s good to have the chance to take a look around and see where we’re at.
– Not an event planning session, but events surely will be discussed.
– Not an organizational structure meeting, but organizational structure surely will be discussed.
– Not too long, but not too short.

Location is Ladies’ Literary Club, 218 North Washington Street
Every Sunday at 1pm
Depart from Rec Park (map
Our usual weekly group ride meets each Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm at Recreation Park at the corner of Elm and Congress (map) and rides for about an hour or two, depending on who is riding and where they vote to go. If there are multiple route suggestions and enough people, we’ve been known to split up into two groups. It’s a “self-supported” ride, which means that, though others might happen to have water, phone, pump, spare tube, etc., there’s no guarantee (bring your own to be sure). Also, while helmets aren’t required by law in Michigan for adults, we strongly encourage helmet use. Minors of course are required by law to wear a helmet when cycling on public roads.
