Ypsilanti Bike To Work Day & Commuter Station

Friday, May 17th

Beezy’s Cafe, 20 North Washington Street, Ypsilanti

Times are listed below.

This Friday, consider bicycling to work, to class, for errands, for a meal, or for any other local activity in Ypsilanti (a League of American Bicyclists Bike Friendly Community). This one day of the year is dedicated to getting people on bikes for local transportation where in the past they may have hopped in a car, so give it a try. You will also get some healthy exercise and save money in the process.

If you are bike riding in (or through) Ypsilanti this Friday morning, stop by the Bike Commuter Station from 7am to 9am in front of Beezy’s Café (20 North Washington Street) for biking/walking information, maps, free coffee/snacks and to enter a raffle for bike-related prizes. Also, in honor of Bike To Work Day, Beezy’s will be providing free coffee all day long May 17th (7am to 4pm) to cyclists who show their helmet to the cashier.

For those needing to go to Ann Arbor, join the Bike Ypsi group commute ride to Ann Arbor leaving at 8am from Beezy’s (they open at 7am for breakfast). For more information, including other bike commuter stations set up around Ann Arbor, visit https://www.getdowntown.org/events/commuter-challenge.
